Blakley Chartered Accountant* acquired and amalgamated with Busby Thome Professional Corporation on July 1, 2010. Busby Thome operated in Airdrie, Alberta since 1981 and provided accounting and tax services to individuals and businesses in a range of industries.
Blakley Chartered Accountant* and Busby Thome are working together to ensure a smooth transition for all clients. The office of Blakley Chartered Accountant* is at the location of Busby Thome and all of the existing staff members will continue to be an integral part of the practice.
Blakley Chartered Accountant* is owned and operated by Clay Blakley, CA. Clay grew up on a cattle and grain farm in southeastern Saskatchewan and learned the values of hard work and integrity from a young age. Clay attended the University of Regina, completing a bachelors degree in Business Administration, then went on to obtain his Chartered Accountant designation. He has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta since 2000. The combination of experience gained in both public practice and industry enables Clay to see his clients issues from a variety of perspectives.
Clay and his wife Jenn with their three children, along with their dogs Lulu and Elvis, live in Airdire.
